Paper pot press
A practical and beautiful device made of high-quality beech wood for making planting pots from newspaper, which is not only fun but also environmentally friendly. Instead of traditional flower pots made of clay or plastic, you can make small paper pots yourself with the paper pot press.
Here’s how it works
Cut strips of double-layered newspaper about 30 cm long and 9 cm wide. Warning: Use only newspaper! Magazine paper is thicker and coated, so it doesn’t decompose as quickly as newspaper. Now roll one strip of double-layered paper around the top part of the press. Make sure there is about a 3 cm wide edge hanging over the bottom. Fold this edge under the press. Start at the seam and then fold piece by piece until you’ve gone all the way around. Place both parts of the press together and press them firmly. Done!
